7 Months old and Thanksgiving

I know I havent been doing so great keeping up on this but we have had an eventful fews weeks. Olivia is now Officially 7 months old. She is crawling and standing and getting in to everything. We discovered that she cant drink apple juice, it gives her hives.... fun stuff. Then last week she got a stomach virus...For a solid week. She got really bad but thankfully she is much better and back to normal. We had to hold off on getting the Christmas tree up until yesterday because she was so sick this week. I will post pictures soon, she is screaming right now so this is all I can update right now. I am posting a picture of Olivia and the boys at Thanksgiving in their Alabama and Auburn Clothes. My beautiful baby girl is a BIG 6 MONTHS OLD today!!! i can't believe it. She is growing up way too fast, she is babbling and crawling and saying "dadadada" all the time. I love to hear her laugh it is the sweetest sound in the world. We had her pictures made Saturday by my friend, she owns Lighthouse Photography, and she did a wonderful job. I have post some pictures for all to see.

Been a While

Well the last post was a happy one, this one not so much. 4 days after those beautiful pictures of my baby girl I lost one of my favorite people in the world, My grandmother passed away surrounded by family at her home. She fought for a long time and went Home on September 18, 2008 to be with my Papa and her Lord. She was the most beautiful women I will ever know inside and out. I would write more but I don't know that I can or that I have enough room to describe her. I love her and will miss her everyday.

Quick update

Well our precious baby girl is now 4 months.... and growing growing growing!!! We measured her tonight just for the heck of it and she is 27 inches long!!!! She has grown 8 inches in 4 months....and gained 8lbs... She is long...hopefully that will keep going and she will be our star basketball or volleyball player... Gotta get that college paid for, uh? She started rolling over 3 weeks ago and hasn't stopped! It is so cute! And she is now talking in her own little language and she is so meaningful. She tilts her little head and shruggs her shoulders like she is just telling you whats in her little heart. She understands I love you and will just smile like crazy when she hears that and when we tell her how pretty she is.... don't think she will be spoiled, do you? We go for the 4 month shots on Thursday, wish us luck...

Olivia Rolling over by herself!!!!

Well Miss Olivia rolled over for the first time on Thursday Aug 21 but I was in the floor with her and too excited watching her to get it on video and tonight she did twice for her daddy like she was showing off.... She is a stinker!! She is so cute, she will tease us and roll from side to side and then pop over and hold that little head up like she is saying "hey look at me". I am just amazed that no matter how many babies I have been around everything she does is like the first time I have ever seen a baby do it and everything is so special!!!

3 month update

Our baby girl is 3 months old today!!! I can't believe I had her 3 months ago and just how much she has changed. She has started giggling and that is the most precious thing I have ever heard in my life. My mom and i heard it for the first time on Saturday and then Jason got to hear her tonight. I don't think Jason and I knew what true love was until she came along. She loves to smile at everybody and talks in her on little language! I just know that I will love the sound of her voice when she says her first word!! She is starting to try to roll all the way over and i don't think it will be too long now, Last night she got her whole body over except she could not get past that arm she was laying on.... it was adorable.

New Stuff

Sorry it has taken so long to update!! We have had a busy busy time since I have gone back to work. Everyday when I get home I just want to spend the time with Olivia and Jason. We went to the Dr on July 3 and Olivia is 11 lbs and 23 inches so she had grown 4 inches and gained 5 lbs since she was born. We also got her first set of shots, which wasn't fun at all....but she got over it pretty quick, I think I had a harder time getting over it. We had a good 4th but she wasn't a happy camper the first day after the shots...Jason, Olivia and I stayed at my sisters house with my nephews on the 5th, that was fun. The boys helped so much with Olivia. They will make good daddy's one day. This weekend was my 10 year reunion. I can't believe how much my life has changed in 10 years. It was so good to see everyone. We had a picnic during the day so we took Olivia, and she spent the night with Melanie and Scotty last night so that Jason and I could go t;o the night time part of the reunion. It was so strange to not have her with us when we came home. But it was good to be able to sleep in this morning. I have so many pictures to put on here for those that don't get to see Olivia often. She is growing so much and she is such a happy baby......

Update and new pics

We have been busy this last couple of weeks so I haven't got to update. I go back to work on Monday so I have just been enjoying my precious little girl. She is growing so fast. She is OOhing and AAhing at us now when we talk to her and she is starting to smile on purpose, I am still trying to get a picture of that. I can't believe she is already 6 weeks old. We took her to visit her Great Grandfather last Sunday, I have a lot of pictures so I will keep the update short.

Happy Memorial Day!

Happy Memorial Day everyone!!! We have been lazy today since yesterday was so busy. We took little bit to church for the first time yesterday and then as Lori said it we had to take her on the "baby parade". We started to church at around 9 and after church we went to eat with mom and then to her house, then we went to see Granny. After there we went to visit Lori's family, Sam and Dot haven't seen her yet. We left there and went to my sisters and then to the firestation to see daddy... we went to eat and then came home and we were all give out. Me and Olivia slept on the chase lounge until about 11, she woke up and ate about 5 ounces and slept from 12:30 to 6 this morning and then ate and slept til 10:30...... She was a tired little girl! I put some pictures of her in her little dress. Our friend Lee bought her this dress and it is the only one that fits her right now, it is a premie.... She looked so beautiful!!!

Dr Appt

Well I took Olivia to the Dr this morning for the 2 week, even though really it is 3 weeks tomorrow... Anyways she is up to 8lb 4oz and 21 inches long now..... she is a growing girl! She had to have her little heel pricked again and did not like it one bit, but I wouldn't like it either if someone was squeezing the daylights out of my heel... She got over it quickly after though so Mommy didn't cry with her. Then we went to the fire station to see Papa and as soon as he picked her up she was out like a light and took a good nap. So we had a big morning.

Also I turned 28 Saturday, Olivia is the best present I could ask for!! Jason let me go shopping for clothes and I am back to my pre-pregnancy size so I loved it. We went to see some friends on friday night and my Mom kept Olivia for about 2 hours so that was nice but we missed her!! I could not ask for anything better!! I have a great family and had a wonderful birthday!!

First bath

Well we tried to give Olivia the first official bath in her tub last night, her belly button finally fell off all the way in order for us to do it. It was interesting and she didn't like it to say the least but hopefully she will like it the next time. We are going to town today and going shopping for my bday, that is my gift from Jason I get to buy new clothes...... No more Maternity Clothes!!! Our friends Jenny and Dustin house warming party is tonight so Mom is going to keep Olivia this evening, it will be our official first time to go somewhere, but only for a couple of hours..... I am sure we will be calling and checking on her. I put her bath pictures above.... Have a great day!
